LOST: Phoebe Small Female Black Cat
|
Hi everyone, I do have my story about my missing cat Phoebe on Purrs in Our Hearts and Cat Chat and thought that I would post here in case any of you are not regulars to these sites.
Phoebe has been missing since September 16th 2007, she is 4 years old and small for her age. She is very friendly and affectionate and it is totally out of character for her to stray from the garden.
She is a domestic short hair - black in colour - and has a few white hairs on her chest.
We are doing everything possible to try and find her - please read her story on purrs in our hearts.
I am not giving up and just want her home.

Please get the info across to Sue at mymoggy & get as many as possable posters up around where you live. Put them onto trees & ask your neighbours to check their sheds, you might try going out at night calling & looking for her incase she's trappped somewhere nearby.

I posted on Cat Chat a while back. Sorry to hear she's still missing. I know exactly how you feel as my Hades disappeared the day after Phoebe! Keep your chin up, they'll all be home soon!

Thank you for remembering us. I do hope that they will be home soon from their big adventure. Have you had any sightings of Hades yet?

Well, there's the thing with black cats, too most people one looks much the same as another!
We went out on Tuesday leafleting the area. Whist out one lady said her husband had seen Hades going over the main village road. While I was talking to her another lady called me and left a message saying she'd seen him in the opposite direction over the bypass!
The only sighting I'm taking seriously is the one from a couple of weeks ago as she looked at the picture and said she was sure it was Hades. Also, she said he was thin, which he would be after (at that time) 7 weeks away from home.
I'm guessing you're having the same "sightings"?
By the way, she is a lovely looking cat! Bet you miss her terribly? I know I do Hades...

Update on My Missing Phoebe
|
Hi everyone.
I'm finding that I cannot still let go - It has been 5 months now and there has still been no positive sighting or news. We are continuing with our poster campaign, which is doing a great job - we are receiving at least 2 calls a week - alas they are not her. There has been no sign of her at the vets, rescues or the council - they still get a weekly call from me.
I will keep going and will not let it go as I keep being told to do so. I need to know where she is.
Come home Phoebe - I miss you

we lost fuzz over 6 years ago and still live in the hopes that someone will let us know where she went and I admire you for carrying on looking for Pheobe ...............but please do not make it your lives work as believe me you can become obsessed we very nearly did and as I have said to other who have been where you are the best way is to get into cat welfare in some way,it is the only thing that kept us sane(some may say it did'nt ) and the fact that in some way fuzz going missing has found or saved many hundreds of cats (not all due to us) as the ripple effect went on.
We like to think that she might have been pleased at this as I am sure your Pheobe would be.
be lucky
roger.
