Sorry RR; I've sent a reply to your PM but am still getting a General Error:
Could not connect to smtp host : 110 : Connection timed out
DEBUG MODE
Line : 112
File : smtp.php
But it said that last time and you got it so... I dunno!
Anyway, yes Saffy, you're right that £30 is better than nothing, but it is a lot of work to get it! I have to deliver the books, then collect them a few days later, add the orders to an orderform and check the maths, wait for the orders to be delivered to me, sort them all into bags (as everything comes in a big box) then deliver the goods to the customer. Factor in all the hours for this plus keep changing the bags the books come in and keep having to go back for the ones some numpties can't follow the instructions of "Please leave outside your front door on XXXday" and it works out, on average, I'm working for £2 an hour. Humm, did that when I was 15! Sitcking too it for now though in order to re-leaflet the village.
And on that note, I've had one lady call and say that a black cat sits on her windowsill and plays with her indoor cat and she thinks it might be Hades. Think it was Monday she called and she said she'd let me know when she next saw him but, alas, no sign as yet.
Came in from delivering books this evening to mum saying she'd had a call from another lady who said that a friend of hers in the next village had been feeding a black cat for the last two years, which fits well with when Hades went missing. Long story short, it wasn't him and, frankly, looked nothing like him! Was a pretty, but old cat. Felt awful leaving him but he ran away and, really, mum would kill me if I collected another stray!
So, no good news as yet. I'll be going to the other side of the village next week and I'll flyer there and see what, if any, response I get. I have to say I'm a little worried about going to that part as that's where we rescued Bast and Shakti from and I'm worried about how I'll feel if those cats are still outside that house. I can't take any more and I know the RSPCA won't care, as they didn't last time. Guess I'll just have to see how I feel when I get there. I'm tempted not to leave a book at that house as I don't know how I'd be if she did place an order and I'd have to speak to her! I suspect I'd be less than my usual pleasent self! I'll see.
So, that's it for now.
P.S RR, I have just built a high-end PC. I'm a very gadgety person! Lol!
