Re: Missing White-Torti Blue Eyes Crawley West Sussex

If Heather is timid she's probably not strayed any further than the nearest "safe place", which could even be on your street. Now that she's been lost for over a couple of weeks she might feel confident to come out of hiding more often - mostly at night/wee hours when it's quiet. You might feel like even a few streets is a needle in a haystack... so make sure you recruit as many other eyes as possible. If someone has catnapped her they might take pity if they speak to you face to face or see from all the posters how hard you're trying to find her! Wherever there's food and shelter, she'll be there, taking care of herself but waiting for rescue! Posters work really well although you should do leaflets too for people who are housebound or jump straight into their car when they leave the house. BEST OF LUCK!!

Just because she has been an indoor cat does not mean she will not know how to look after herself while stray............cats go into what I call stray mode and prioritize, you might like to spread the rumour that she has a special microchip that can be traced (it won't be that long before thats right) and sometimes it will mysteriously be found or appear.
best time to look is twilight and dawn(sorry) its reasonably quiet.
